I suppose I try not to think about it too much because, like many Americans, it just makes me mad.
But with reference to WW, I remember that whole weekend. We were down for our usual September trip, and as it turns out, a fishing boat dumped a pile of dead fish off shore, so the beach was littered with thousands of them. I thought the smell was so bad it was even hard to sit on the sand 50 yards from the water. They had these blue rake machines going up and down the beach trying to pick them up, it was a mess.
Does anyone remember this happening? Looking back, it was almost some kind of weird omen.
Anyway, we left on Monday Sept 10, and Tues morning I decided to work from home for a few hours to catch up on email, etc., and for some reason turned off the TV at about 8:30, and had no idea this was going on since I had dial up and noone could call. I found out it was happening when I asked the guy who was fixing our electric meter to move his truck so I could get out, and he asked me if I was watching TV, he said it was "worse than Pearl Harbor". I thought he must have misheard it on the radio in his van, but when I turned on the TV and saw the towers burning, I couldn't believe it.

Hey, did anyone see that video of the American who changed to Islam? He made a tape and said if we don't change to Islam, we will face the concequences. This whole world is really turning upside down.

through the rabbit hole... It's crazy. Doesn't anyone get tried for treason anymore? Being the conservative America-first nationalist that I am, I could say more, but this is not the forum, and like I said before, thinking about it just p-sses me off, and I need to eliminate stress from my life

Well, if you can completely eliminate stress from your life in this day and age, let me know how you did it.

Did anyone get an email about flying the American flag on September 11th? It said when Sept. 11th happened, everyone went out and bought flags to fly and now we all should remember to start doing that again.

Yes i did get that emails and monday morning i am flying my flags that i bought in salute to the men and women over seas and to the people who tragically died on September 11th. And speaking of 9/11 has anyone noticed all these specials that seem to come out two weeks or the week before 9/11 every tv station is having a special of some kind my discovery channel had on just a couple days ago and segment called Toxic Air about the workers who help in the clean up effort who now have some type of breathing trouble and another called Flight i think its was 175 as the world saw it.
And just lastnight the made for tv movie Flight 93 and right after that it was How i missed flight 93.
It just seems strange all year not one special about that day and now here we are just a few days away and there are like 10 maybe 15 speicals about that day.

I know what you mean. Why just now? I watched the movie Flight 93 and I was a basket case when it was over. If people like us think alot about it and get upset, I just can't imagine what the survivors are still going through.

Was in WW over this weekend. At the spur of the moment, decided to drive down to Sunset Beach in Cape May on Monday, Sept 11. Got there right before sunset, but the ceremony was over. Did get to see "Lacey", one of the rescue dogs who was in one of the smaller towers (Tower 7) right before it collapsed in the late afternoon of Sept 11. She is credited with saving the lives of about 50 people since she started to get nervous and her handler interpreted this as a signal to get out, about 20 minutes before the collapse.

I heard about that dog and many others. That is just wonderful that they are trained to do that. Watched a "moving" video on the news of what happened that day and alot of other videos and news articles. It is just so terribly sad yet. Did you know they're STILL finding remains on roof-tops and other places? There was a big article about that in the paper here. So many are still unidentified. One man who actually worked in one of the Trade Centers got out just in time and later joined the military just because of what happened. Alot enlisted because of that day.
