I was stuck at the corner of Bennett and Arctic today after the little wheels on my cart broke. I had just left Acme and called Yellow Cab as it's the easiest number to remember. The guy gets there and ask why I didn't call from another corner because there is work being done at this location. Being tired and upset cause my cart is in pieces, I said next time my cart breaks I'll make sure it's in a better location for you...he said 'I don't need YOUR attitude, Lady' and sped off! OK I was sarcastic, but I was looking at my frozen items melting, and he's ticked off cause I was not at a convenient location for him. I called 411 and got the number for Checker, and they were most accommodation. Sadly, I can't even complain to the Yellow Cab Co. as the same driver is the one that takes the calls. How does one file an offical complaint against this company?

the ignorant b-stard. probably why he is driving a cab.
Just a suggestion, but try filing a complaint with the bureau that grants cab licenses for WW. check with the county, etc.

I have no idea what was on the roof...I know what was driving tho...but won't say in mixed company. I just filed a complaint with the BBB..I don't want anything from them other than maybe having someone tell them what an #### they have driving for them. As I said, he was the same guy that takes the calles...so I didn't even try to complain to the company itself. Yes I was a bit sarcastic...but Ilooking at a load of food and such sitting in a busted cart(dang plastic wheels!!) and knowing my frozen stuff is slowly becoming un-frozen.

Anita - He's probably one of the co=owners. If you call again, try to get Linda, if she's still there - Not that she'll do anything but at least you can vent your spleen. Also, their licenses are issued by the cities of the Wildwoods, not the county. Complain to the mayor. Complain really loudly. He might not be able to do anything except talk to them. But enough complaints might get a serious look next year when it comes time for the commissiners to approve next year's licenses. The cabs in Wildwoods are basically on their own, because no one polices them, even though they should. Take Caribbean - or better, NEVER take Caribbean, the wheels might fall off or the engine might explode!!!! The only regulation I've seen is the county checking up once every few years to make sure the meters are locked. And yet, we all know the companies don't always use their meters, especially when carrying tourists or drunks. They mostly give you a flat fee from point A to point B. You can also complain to the Chamber of Commerce. Good luck. Thom

If Castle Dracula was around, you should have sent the son of a to be tortured in the Dungeon, ha, ha. Better yet, send him to Dante's Dungeon and chain him to the wall! Do you remember this, Anita? www.darkinthepark.com/Dracula/cdPictures/cdDOpics.htm The first season, 1977 of Castle Dracula. What was different about the castle then than the final years?

Maybe it's because contessanisha used to work in castle dracula. It seems that there are more than rude taxi drivers in this postmaybe we should all be a little more tolerant and try to live up to our own profile quotes?

Being tired and upset cause my cart is in pieces, I said next time my cart breaks I'll make sure it's in a better location for you...he said 'I don't need YOUR attitude, Lady' and sped off! Maybe it was the 19 years I spent as a Xerox repairman and all the abuse I had thrown my way, but I would have found a way to turn your misfortune into a joke and have you laughing as I helped you load your stuff into the cab. I don't think there is any service person more mistreated than a copier guy. But I never let the customer get the satisfaction of getting me mad. I always found a way to leave them on good terms when the service call was ended, even if I didn't finish the repairs and had to return with parts. Bottom line is everyone needs to get the chip off their shoulder. He lost his company a customer over WORDS (ouch...). Remember that short period of time after 9/11 when people were going out of their way to be nice to each other? Sorry to rant, but life's too short to waste even one day walking around with your fists clenched and you forehead vein bulging because someone "dissed" you. Okay, back to our regularly scheduled program......
