In my on-going (and seemingly futile) attempt to get up-to-date on the cataloging of my Wildwood photos, I occassionally come across some pics that I don't even remember taking. Below is one such shot, which I apparently took in May of 2005. I probably payed this no mind at the time I snapped it, as I was most likely just experimenting with some of the features on my digital. Now that I look at it, however, it is kind of interesting. What do you think?

It reminds me of playing "Missle Command" on my old Atari 2600. There does appear to be an eerie similarity there... ;D

It's obviously a motel looking at the bottom of the pic, but I can't tell which one, yet. And Crip, I'm not seeing your Missile Command connection.

Always here to amuse, my dear --- plus the sad thing is that my statement is true, for the most part -- ahh, reckless youth

The biggest clue is the in the upper right-hand corner of the pic, if your eyes are sharp enough to detect it.

Caribbean Motel...what do I win? ...and did your camera recover from this fall? Or was it the hiccups?

Well, since it was a tie, I really can't give out an award. Sorry guys, but I only have one. ;D
I took this pic while standing at the corner of Atlantic and Morning Glory Rd., facing southeast. There was nothing obstructing the view a block to the east because the Siesta Motel complexes had recently been torn down.
So, it's a panoramic of Ocean Ave., with the three most distinctive ribbons of light being (from left to right), the Aqua Beach, Bel Air and Caribbean motels.
I was messing with the features on my camera when I took this one, and just though it turned out kind of cool. I think it's neat how the letters in the Caribbean sign managed to retain their shape from one end of the ribbon to the other.
Just a pic, but I figured I'd share it for the fun of it.
