Sure, I'll bring my long pants and jacket. why don't they have it in the peak of the summer, or at least June or September? maybe have a nice evening concert on the beach during the warmer months? I guess that would make too much sense.
count me out.

The 60's Weekend is Great also, but I rather do the 50's Oh, by the way The lastresort.... 7,200 people at the Concert this year, also enjoyed the Mild Weather and had a great time at the 50's weekend. Away from the Summer Crazy's on the Boards! It's a really nice time of the Year for this Event. (just like I am sure the 60's weekend is) thanks for the opinion

I think it's a good idea to keep this in the fall, to extend the season with a big event while things would likely be quieter otherwise.

This time of year is really taking a chance at the shore (just look at this weekend), plus it would be nicer I think to have the rides running etc.

This makes it easer for some of the people that can’t get around to be dropped off so they can enjoy the event. It would be almost impossible to have these events in the summer months since the parking lots would be full of day tripper’s cars, and buses. Plus the idea is to extend the season both in the spring and fall. I guess if the band shell is ever finished the events will move to Fox Park next year. You might want to attend one of these events and see for yourself.

I do agree that the rides should be kept open another weekend or so to accomodate this weekend, even if just one pier.

thanks, but I don't see myself going to WW in the cold, Sept is my cutoff. Maybe Cape May, definintely Atlantic City, but WW, to me, is a summer town.

I know, wildre, but I can't say for lack of trying. I have popped into town during the off season on a few occasions a number of years ago on my way to Cape May, or even once just for a ride on a weekend, and seeing everything dead just depressed me. Maybe I need to try one of these event weekends.
I know you've said you leave WW during the off season also. Do you make it back much? I just find with the limited weekends I have free, we just tend to do more "season appropriate" venues during WW's off season.
