Great pics. Loved the reds, oranges, greens, bright yellows, flowered wallpapers, and of the panelled walls.

This book is SUCH a treasure... so nice of you to share it with us, beachrat. You could sell it for a bundle on eBay I'm sure--but you're not going to do that, of course Look at the wonderful "Coffee Shop" sign on the Eden Roc, it could have come right off the grille of one of those cars parked there That sign isn't still there, is it? I don't remember seeing it when I walked by the motel this summer.

I'm glad you're all enjoying these. I have such fun looking at all the old decor in the room pictures, and the great old cars in the parking lots.
And you're right, fuzzy - this I will never part with. Some things are worth more than money, and I have many great memories of paging through this book in the off-season, looking for a new motel to convince my parents to try.
More to come soon ;D

thanks again!! looking at all the original shots.. I think that I would have loved to stay at the Case Bahama.. but never did.. Me too Frank, I feel the CB is right up there with the Carribean as the coolest looking place in ww. I would love to know what it was sold for since it was a total dump in its final years.

That's a great site. A real trip down Memory Lane! Can't wait 'til u get to the "S"'s for The Swan. My bride and I honeymooned there in 1969. 2 kids from K&A (her) and Harrowgate (me) and we thought we were in some tropical resort.
