Look at this site www.agilitynut.com/overnight5a.html Great shots of the (RIP) motels. It's almost sad looking at them knowing they were there that many years like 1958-2005 and they're now gone. Most of the motels were there before I was born, in Jan. 1974. How could they survive all those years but now they fall? Was the 2002-2005 real estate boom period that great to convince them to sell compared to the 70's, 80's, and 90's? What enabled them to survive during the 70's, 80's, and 90's, but not now? Look at this www.roadsidenut.com/sat204.jpg Doesn't it look like condos were built right up to the Satellite? It's like they were wall to wall, only a foot apart.

Great pictures, Robert. I guess it depends on who owns them , what is going on around that area, I don't know. If you get a big developer that comes in there and knows what he wants to do, I guess, there you go again, money talks.
