I loved those funhouses. I don't remember them having a name... maybe just "funhouse". I think the facades were painted in a circus theme and a "rock star" theme. At the entrance you had two choices- enter via a moving conveyor belt, or moving verticle steps- I could never climb the steps as a kid. There were walkways that moved up and down- almost in a circular motion, a barrel (you were never allowed to do anything in), spinning circles on the floor with a pole in the middle, a walkway that would shift your feet back and forth, a big conveyor belt that an employee had to escort you up, and finally a large polished wood slide that would hurt your asss as you slid down- half way down it turned into a moving wooden conveyor that dumped you out onto some pads. There were also funhouse mirrors by the exit.
There used to be a picture of one of them on the mrboardwalk.net site, but I can't find it right now.

You might as well enjoy Morey's crappy dark rides while you can before Morey's goes out of business, too and the entire place turns into one big private condo beach club type of community and the only ones that will be able to afford to stay there will be doctors and lawyers. Doctors don't make squat anymore, with all the HMO and Medicaid, and big liberal programs....

There will always be dark rides as long as there is a boardwalk. Zombie World is a fun ride.

Its not bad but Zombie World seems to have more action and thrills about it. Hopefully the dark ride expert, Robert, will read this and give us his opinion.

Sadly, Robert's opinion would be void, as he has not ridden or even seen any of these rides in person.

We just never seem to get up that far, since without Hunt's, noone seems to want to walk the vast 3/4 mile of wasteland between pier 2 and pier 4 to get to pier 4, and everyone is beat after riding the kiddie rides on pier 2 for 3 hours We just never seem to get past the Kohr's ice cream stand on pier 2 these days...
