Thank you. I will be sure to watch it even though I have already seen it a thousand times, but it still gives me goose bumps!

I have it on tape. Just watched it the other day. My sister and brother in law were in from Las Vegas. My sister who danced on bandstand absolutely enjoyed it. She remembered all the WW clubs, dances, thingy Clark, Chubby Checker(Ernie Evans) hopefully spelled correctly. She was very sad about WW's wrecking ball. She said that Las Vegas saw the wrecking ball but now it is even better out there. But WW should stay the way it was, ....

I came across it last night, about 5 minutes into the show. I couldn't believe it - an old picture of the Shalimar was being shown, while actually being in the Shalimar! Shortly after, Steven Tecco from the Armada comes on the show, and I was able to look out the window to see the Armada's neon sign. Interesting to watch this while actually being in Wildwood!

Being in the Shalimar while watching "Wildwood Days" - I would think that I died and went to heaven.

how do you like the new Shalimar Martin? Can't wait till August when we stay there Very nice. Except for a phone problem beyond their control, there were no "issues". They did a beautiful job with the renovation and expansion. The new lobby is very nicely done - very "open" feeling, and neat looking (like the rest of the place). The gym and sauna even looked ready to be used - this is on the 2nd floor. From there, you can even look down into the lobby. The meeting rooms (I think there's 3 of them) are on the 3rd floor, and they can all be used as 1 if necessary (as we did for the DWPL Awards Dinner). The new 4th floor is mostly 2 level townhouse apartments, with a few Motel rooms as well. I was in a D-6 type unit, room 310. If I wasn't so loyal to the Reges (been going there since 1986) and I was looking for a new place, I wouldn't hesitate. I was very glad I stayed at the Shalimar for my trip down for the Awards Dinner - I arrived on Saturday the 20th and left on Tuesday the 23rd. I was also happy to support them, with attending the dinner there and for the work they put into it (and the Motel itself)... I'm sure you'll love it, Frank!
