I just visited Blackthorn's website (http://www.irishthing.com) and saw that their entire line-up for this years Festival is at the Bolero. Rumors were wild last year about where Irish Weekend was going to be, and all we heard was that it is the NORTH WILDWOOD Irish Fall Festival, and thats where it would stay. Rumors were going around about Keenan's or Westy's taking over once Moore's was only a memory. Looks like the North lost out since most of the entertainment that weekend surrounds Blackthorn, and every Irish Band out there wants to play near Blackthorn for crowds and exposure. Any thoughts?

I saw that last month on Blackthron's website. Not sure what to make out of it? It's always so congested along Atlantic @ Wildwood Ave. on weekends. I think I'll pass this year, parking would be a bear. I have several of their CD's, I'll listen to them instead?

We just received a postcard from the Irish Group Paddy's Well (the group formed by the former lead singer of Blackthorn, Paul Moore) and his group along with alot of other Irish groups are going to be at the "Inlet in Anglesea" at Spruce and Old New Jersey Ave. Their website www.paddyswell.com has a full Irish Weekend link with a music schedule. It does not mention Blackthorn who will be at the Bolero. I'm assuming it maybe at two different locations? Definitely enough people, music and good times to support two different venues.
