Just wanted to see if anyone else collects items from the 50's, 60's and 70's. I know it's mostly guys here and you probably don't Of course I have my early Barbies and Kens, and my husband's GI Joes. I also collect clothes, especially mid 50's to late 60's. I love the men's "sharkskin" suits and the ladies full circle swing dresses! A friend of mine has an early 60's home and he has it completely redecorated with period items! Very groovy!

I collect old Fender guitars from the '50s and '60s, as well as anything Buddy Holly.
I also collect vintage AR speakers from the '50s and '60s. Lately I've been getting into old chrome Jersey Shore postcards from that era!

No, it was the reading fairgrounds. The reading fairground square mall is there today.

Don't even mention the Reading Fairgrounds. I could cry when I think of the racetrack there and the original fairgrounds. I used to rollerskate there as a kid, too. When they put that mall there, that was really sad. Half the time the parking lots are empty; unless they have something going on in the mall to draw people. They try to bring the fair back the way it was but it will never be the same. Like your smiley, dolfinmusic. : )

I used to collect 45 records. Had every single one since I was a kid. I had so many boxes of them, I finally put them on cassettes, and now everything's cd's. Finally gave them all to my X.

I collect anything about amusement parks, dark rides, Dorney Park, Wildwood, mostly on Ebay and I build amusement parks on the computer in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. I started a recreation of Dorney Park. I already started a Wildwood with Castle Dracula and Hunt's included but didn't finish it. I must have 50 parks that I did or downloaded in the game already. There are a few parks that are a dark ride only such as a haunted mansion, or castle and a few spooky parks. I love those rotating tunnels.

Well, when you put it that way, Thom, I guess, I am, too. How many years must you have something before it's an antique? : (
