Robert, my son did all that roller coaster tycoon stuff and that is really neat! People are walking around, talking. He used to even make the rides crash! Did you ever see the model of the roller coaster someone built, in the Ripley's Believe it or Not, in Ocean City, Maryland? That is amazing. That's what you should do.

Where do you get the stuff? Flea markets, auctions, or is some of it your own? I remember the original Coca Cola glass bottles they sold in the machines for a dime! Somehow, or maybe it's just me, but I thought it tasted better back then. I had an original princess telephone for years; with the dial. Aqua was a "hot" color back then, too. If you take notice, alot of things nostalgic are coming back. I saw those aliminum colored cups alot of places. You should post your pictures. I can picture my mom's house with the flowered wallpaper, flowered carpet and checkered linoleum in the kitchen; with a REAL porclean sink, and the refrigerator with the little square ice-box on the top left side. Better stop; bringing back too many memories.

I was flipping around the radio dial in my car the other day and came upon the greatest station I've ever listened to! It's 107.9, but of course it's from here. Well, all they play are oldies from the 50's and 60's; one right after another. I have not shut that radio off for 2 days straight. I feel like I'm going back in time.

I love 70's and 80's music, and I love Casey Kasem's countdowns which ran from 1970-1988. The 80's ones play on XM radio 80's channel Thursdays at 10 and Sundays at noon. Music started going downhill after the 80's. So did MTV. It seems ghetto rap is all too popular with youth today, as well as all the teeny pop that came out between 1997-1998 and 2000-something. 60's had the Beatles and Elvis, 70's had CCR, Elton John and Disco, and the 80's had Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Hall & Oates, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Phil Collins/Genesis, hair metal like Scorpions, Def Leppard, Poison, Whitesnake and more Elton John. 90's was Nirvana, dance club music, teen pop-boy bands, girl groups and soloists. The late 80's had better ones like Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, NKOTB. I don't particularly care for 90's and up music. One of my local radio stations plays "In the End" by Linkin Park way too much and endless Kelly Clarkson.

Please don't ask him that, Crippled! My head is spinning just reading his post!! No, seriously, I think Robert was born in the wrong time era. I swear, though, he sounds just like my son!!!! My son CONSTANTLY talks about the 50's and 60's and he was born in 1971. So I don't know why he always had an interest in that. I mean, Robert, you just sound just like him!!!! It's incredible!

I knew I did a good job when, at my daughter's wedding, the wedding party danced to Babalu's Wedding Day and then Wildwood Days!! (Ah...Starlite Ballroom)

Besides that. That era was the best music and everyone still loves it. Even kids NOT from that era like it. Why is that?
