Does anyone remember a large Mr. Peanut on the boardwalk? Where was he and when did he disappear?

when I was very young, I remember a Mr. Peanut sign that spun around outside of a peanut place on the BW I believe there was a peanut roasting machine inside the window of the store and people were roasting the peanuts there. This is a very old memory for me. If I remember correctly, there was a high pitched sound coming from the store(at the time I thought it was coming from the sign as it spinned) I was at an age where this sound scared me so I was alittle afraid of that sign. Perhaps this sound was steam venting from the peanut machine but it was loud enough to get you attention. Also, I remember one year, this store gave away a plastic mr peanut bank for free. It may or may not have been filled with peanuts. This is my only recollection of Mr. Peanut.

I remember "meeting" Mr. Peanut on the Boardwalk in A.C. when I was a kid (early 80s).
He scared the heck out of me.
