IS IT JUST ME OR IS IT THAT MACKS AND MACK AND MANCOS DOWN IN OCEAN CITY ARE JUST REALLY OVER RATED SINCE THERE REALLY ISNT ANY GREAT PIZZA P{LACES ON THE BOARDS AT ALL? SORRENTOS OFFERS UP NOTHING BUT RE HEATED GARBAGE SO NO WONDER WHY EVERYONE RAVES ABOUT MACKS..ITS STANDARD IF NOTHING ELSE. I TEND TO THINK THAT OCEAN CITY HAS THE CLASSIER BOARDWALK SINCE THERE ARE NO SEEDY GAMES OF CHANCE EVERY FEET AND IS MORE FAMILY ORIENTATED. LAST TIME I WAS ON THE WILDWOOD BOARDWALK IT LOOKED LIKE WHITE TRASH AND PHILLY TRASH PARADE DAY WITH TATTOO INK DAY AND SINGLE MOM APPRECIATION DAY ALL HELD TOGETHER LOL

Well Devil may have a point....they are trying to clean up the boardwalks image for all of the condo owners...here read on from the Press of Atlantic City

Boardwalk may trade in crass for class By TRUDI GILFILLIAN Staff Writer, (609) 463-6716, E-Mail
WILDWOOD - As the Wildwoods go, so goes the Boardwalk.
And with condominiums along the famous boards selling for $1 million, that can only mean one thing: The Boardwalk is going upscale, said Patrick Rosenello, executive director of the Wildwoods Boardwalk Special Improvement District.
The future of the Boardwalk, which runs from 16th Avenue in North Wildwood to Cresse Avenue in Wildwood, topped the agenda at Wednesday's Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
Rosenello told the group that the Boardwalk is often split into the east and west sides, and while the piers on the east are "second to none" in amenities, the western side needs some work.
"We need to improve what we offer," Rosenello said.
He pointed to plans for large, full-service hotels and the building boom driving real-estate prices across the island, and said the Boardwalk will have to change as the island's visitors change.
Other speakers included North Wildwood Mayor Aldo Palombo and Morey's Piers representative Norris Clark.
Palombo said his town's section of the Boardwalk, which runs from 16th to 26th avenues, has undergone major infrastructure improvements and will see continuing maintenance.
Plans for a new restaurant with a liquor license are also under way.
"We have had two liquor licenses on the Boardwalk. We've never, never had a problem," Palombo said, emphasizing the need to provide the same service found in other resorts such as Walt Disney World.
In addition, talks are being held with a franchise - Palombo declined to name the company -interested in bringing a major business to the island.
Palombo said other plans for the coming season include more than 100 events, a major eating contest and the search for sand to replenish parts of the city's beaches.
Clark said the Moreys plan to introduce four new rides this season including two children's rides and two adult thrill rides.
In the long term, however, the company's focus is on several arenas including bringing cafes and more high-end retail to the Boardwalk, improving parking, creating a welcoming entranceway into the city and building a beach park.
"We're just wringing our hands over the parking," Clark said. Without additional parking, "We're going to be shrinking."
Clark said the island must focus on what any vacationer thinks about: where to stay, where to shop, where to eat and where to play.
"The challenge is how to maintain our destination and also grow it," Clark said.
Audience member Beth Pollack then took the opportunity to ask what can be done to make improvements along the boards. She asked about the payphones she has found along the boards that never work and the condition of some sections of the Boardwalk where the wood has rotted away.
She also urged someone to beautify the area around the Wildwood Post Office.
"(Let's) keep Wildwood from being a shoddy place," Pollack said.

If you want to see lots of teenage girls, go to OC MD. Last time I was there there were swarms of them, they were all walking along the main street. Teenage girls seem to be on a whole other planet, you see them gabbing away on their cells, you should see some of the AOL profiles out there with their long lists of friends and love stories. They sure look cute, though. Problem is I'm too old and they're too young. I have this obsession with females, I like to look at them and perhaps talk to them. I love ones with long blonde hair. Sometimes I see someone that looks 22 and she's actually 12! There's plenty of young chicks both guests and employees at my hometown park, too which is Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, guess they're attracted by all those tall steel coasters and upside down thrill rides. We also get alot of dark people too, they look like they're from NYC or Newark NJ or something, guess the Great Adv. crowd is going to Dorney, too because of all the new rides. I do see many vehicles with NJ/NY plates in the parking lot at the park. Does Wildwood get more "white trash" as you say, or more dark people? Of the times I was there I thought there were more whites and families. Call me a crazy insane individual if you want, those are just my opinions and views.

Oh no! Not "dark people?"
I am curious, though, about how one might actually go about concluding if "dark people" either come from Newark or from NYC?
Last I noticed, there were just as many "dark people" as far north as Cape Cod and as far south as Ft. Lauderdale as in the Wildwoods or any other place along the Jersey Shore for that matter...More importantly, though, is what does it matter?

Wasn't the topic of this thread originally about Mack's Pizza?
That's the kind of "getting good" I'd much rather not involve myself in.
But that's just me...
