Does anyone remember josies fireside pizza on I believe pacific ave? Remember that flipping pizza sign? When I was a kid and you were going up pacific ave and you could see that thing from a distance! When I was down there once around 2001 I think the sign was still hanging there. It looked in bad shape like someone was throwing rocks at it and the neon was busted up! What happened to that awsome sign? there is a neon sign website that has a picture of it! Cant rember what site. I have it on my computer somewhere. That sign used to blow me away!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE that sign!! How great is it with simulated motion and all. I haven't been back to Wildwood in 3 years, but last visit I saw the sign but the place looked deserted. The sign looked as if it was in disrepair. I hope it has been saved...truly a classic 50's/60's sign.

I also remember that Josie's sign. I know I've seen it still there within the last few years. Not sure if it's still there, the building was in disrepair to say the least. Can't think of where on Pacific is was? Wonder if the sign could even be saved? re

Maybe you could ask around and let me know what happened? I heard around 2001 that the sign cost around 20,000 dollars to make that long ago? also i was told that there was a small room for its controls to make the pizzas flip, cause remember now that electronics were not that advanced back then, so I can see them using a bunch of giant transformers and other stuff for its operation.
