I love the Dragon House. I would eat there as a kid (on vacation) every year, and was glad to see it still remains very much it always has been.
I love the bizzare room in the back with some kind of stage, a big dragon costume, puppets (i think) and DJ lights- for no apparent reason.

The Dragon is is Great! I live in OC now...and the Chinese places here are just ick! So we go down to WW just to hit the D. House. I remember going after work when I was at the Castle..imagine a group of about 10-15 (mostly) made-up ghouls sitting in a Chinese Rest. at 1am!

I remember when they used to have this great beef strips in hot pepper sauce which I used to get anytime I felt a cold coming on. I think DRAGON HOUSE has been there for well over four decades. Definitely one of Wildwoods best-kept secrets!

Dragon House has good competent Chinese Food and a very helpful and friendly staff.
The bathrooms are gawky as heck, all part of the fun.

I believe the chef (Mark?) was on David Letterman's and Regis Philbin's shows years ago, I think making noodles.

I believe the chef (Mark?) was on David Letterman's and Regis Philbin's shows years ago, I think making noodles. After I posted this, I read that Mark hasn't been with the restaurant for a while and went on to work at a restaurant by the Ed Sullivan theater. I don't know if he's still there - heh, I didn't even realize he was no longer with the Dragon House.

Absolutely the best food in the area. The place to be in the winter, you always saw new and old friends there. During the summer, it was always a great place to take a date. Always a hit! Good food, good times.
