Also, the Crest Tavern down near Diamond Beach makes a great cheese steak sandwich, and also that little corner deli and diner across the stree from the Adventurer.

Where is the Al&P exactly?
And Mr. D's is on Pacific Ave above Rio Grande but below Schellenger on the east side of the street, if that helps.

The MR. D's I was referring to was always on New Jersey Ave in Wildwood, right across the street from Chiarellas and a block away from the Apollo Diner, where the old Andrews Ave station used to be.
Crest Tavern, though, is on Pacific Ave in Wildwood Crest.

Every time I see fireworks reminds me when they use to have them on the crest beach. One time my grandpop and I were sitting on the beach watching and all of a sudden a piece of firework came crashing down...Quite exciting.....

Always remminds me of Wildwood. Also, in science we are learning about the table of elements and my favorie element has to be, NEON!

I'd also have to say "Let's Dance" by Bowie for the boardwalk. "Light my Fire" by the Doors while driving at night.
Those Horizontal traffic lights remind me of WW, the sound of go karts, salt air smell, outdated motel rooms with wood paneling and old 80's TV's, any flat area's of NJ with old diners and neon signs, old vintage cars, seafood, boats, and any movie I may have watched when we stayed down there.

A little off the topic, can anyone who lives in Philly/suburbs think of anywhere doo wop or wildwoodish around where they live? Jim's Steaks [all 4 locations] seem to have a wildwood doo wop kind of feel. Also Pat's and Geno's, eating outside there on a summer night kind of reminds me of a wildwood night. There are all also some big neon signs in the area too [like wildwood] like the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, or the Arby's on MacDade Blvd, Preston Diner in Tinicum Township, or Marra's on Passyunk in South Phila. How about Nifty Fifties??

What reminds me of WW?
Well the number one thing of course would be: Oh those Wildwood Days, Wild, Wild Wildwood Days... ;D
Also On the Way to Cape May by Cozy Morley! And of course Under the Boardwalk.
The other song that reminds me of WW is "Glory Days" by the Boss. I soooo remember when they came out with the singing booths and the people that sang - to advertise it - sang that song - over and over again! lol!!! When we first saw it we were just so amazed and could not leave!!!!

Plastic palm trees, fried onions, music blasting on the radio, t-shirts with not so nice sayings, suntan oil and so on and so on...

I always think of Wildwood when I see doo-wop like architecture…I think, " that building would look great in Wildwood" then I want to pick it up and drop it on a condo…my contribution to the Wildwood community…
