Robert, nice contribution. As for boardwalk clearing of old and lower-class shops, I don't think God can help you on this one, as many of them aren't going to be around for too much longer, if all goes accordingly. It would be a good idea to get down there before it's all gone. And personally, I'd take a Starbucks over a clone of a vulgar T-Shirt shop anyday.
P.S. When did you become a working middle class?

What are you saying, condoralex, that the master plan or hidden agenda for the WWs is to gentrify or in other words "clean up", (that is replace lowscale businesses with upscale businesses) the entire city of anything considered "old and outdated"? I can see how the Morey's are shifting their focus toward a more, ahem, "young professional" affluent type of audience with their new restaurant and water park bar proposal. Next step would be to get rid of all the dark rides and replace them with upscale gift shops. I will surely miss the WWs of pre-9/11, pre 2000 befoe the real estate market took over like a cancer. (And the castle burned down, too)

(And the castle burned down, too) If there's a plan, Roberto, I don't think it will be hidden by the city. Just realize for Wildwood to keep up with the new demographics it's going for it will need to replace the shacky low-grade businesses. Sprouting of these new types can be seen with the brand new Sand Jamm. As for the ridding of Dark Rides for gift shops (Don't worry, I saw it coming before you replyed), that's a far stretch there buddy. I haven't seen the Morey's replacing well-maintained/aged rides for anything like that yet. But, hey, I guess you can never be too sure.
