Wow, mini double decker Carousel from Hunt's in the early 90's. Haven't seen a picture of her in years.

Why was there a no tresspassing sign on Hunt's Pier? You can see the Ghost Town Shoot Out building behind the carousel frame. The building to the left was that Keystone Kops? I'm guessing this is from 1992/1993 after the pier closed? You can see sky views of the entire pier from that time pier after New Hunt's Pier/Conko's Party Pier 1991 failed on Anthony's site. I'm guessing the rides were closed then, on Anthony's the only rides remaining at that time were the Keystone Kops, Whacky Shack/Hunt's Horror, Golden Nugget, Log Flume, and the Rapids. And the Kamikaze coaster, before it was dismantled. Thos pics of the motel being demolished are sad. And the Hudson's and Satellite, isn't there condos there now? Satellite Motel's website sais that it was razed and now the site of condominium units.

If this picture doesn't get your nostalgic motors running... Nothing will! ;D I loved the place, we always got a picture in front of it every year, but it was Schumann's for the lion's share of its existence, only become Hudson's in like 2001 maybe? I always wondered if they had the Hudson's sign made, and then merely 2 years later, the place was demolished. That seemed like an incredible waste, unless of course their profit far exceeded the cost of the sign. Or did they get if from another business?

Quite a contrast with the Carousel pics. One has "demolition sale" spray painted on it and the other is the motel in prouder days with towels hanging over the railing. That is so Wildwood.
What is about that picture of Hudson's and the Satellite? Very nostalgic! It is a beautiful pic - nice and clear. We never get tired of these, Crazy!
