I am just curious, maybe Kristen you can answer this one, how did Bud Hunt get to be called Bud? His real name was William, was Bud his nickname? No offense.
Next, for a time Hunt's Pier (new owner) and Nickels Midway Pier must have been in partnership, as they honored each other's tickets. So, you could use Hunt's Pier tickets on Castle Dracula and Nickels tickets on the Golden Nugget. I saw this in a book. Wouldn't it have been possible for the Nickels to outright buy Hunt's Pier?
Last, Casino and Sportland were the same owner, right? The Ramagosa's? I know Sebastian and son Gilbert are gone, but Richard is around somewhere. When they were sold, were they sold to different parties? Sportland was sold to Ted Snyder, who got Casino Arcade? Doesn't Nickels own that, where the go-karts are along where Castle Drac was? And is William Howard former owner of Fun Pier still alive?
