Hello,
This BB is a super idea!
My husband and I just love going to Wildwood in the summer. One of its best features is the groovy motels with their cool neon signs. I can't believe how many have come down in the past few months! Especially the Satellite (one of our favorites - I'm a long-time Star Trek fan!).
One of my favorite memories is cruisin' with my husband (then boyfriend) in my old Trans Am, looking at all the lovely neon signs!
I collect and restore vintage Barbies and Ken. They're a perfect time capsule with their 60's wardrobe, hair styles and structures. My goal is to make a doowop-style Barbie restaurant!

I already did something wrong! For some reason the BB considered me a guest when I posted yet I registered as ModLinda!
Whoops!

Welcome aboard, ModLinda! It's good to have you here...
I too was a big fan of the Satellite Motel. Loved those neon orbs and sputniks, and that great "50s" cursive script sign. The boomerang roof was a... well... a "blast" to look at as well!
Cool idea about the Barbie "Doo Wop" restaurant. I am desiging my own "Tribute to Wildwood" website now, and want to feature several projects designed by other Wildwood enthusiasts. When you complete it, would you mind sending me a pic or two?

Hi Al Alven,
I would love to have my Barbie doo-wop restaurant on your website! I know it will take a while to finish it. It will be a cute tribute to the 50's/60's fun style!

I've had an 81 (that I just sold a few months ago), an 88 and I have a 99 Anniversary Edition Convertible that I'll never part with

Those Grand Nationals are great! Excellent website! Would you mind if I shared it with my friend? She used to have one, she also had a Monte Carlo SS, and her husband has an 88 Old Cutlass.
It seems there aren't many cool cars being made today. The new Thunderbird is cute and I like the Mini Cooper but most vehicles just don't look fun to drive.
Besides the TA we have a Honda Goldwing that we love to ride to WW!
