Greetings All, Okay now this post is in the right place... Last year the remnants of Hurricane Frances dumped rain on the east coast from New York, to Atlantic City to Philadelphia. I remember thinking this is going to be rough if we have the solid 6 days of rain forecasted to contend with. But day after day, we were spared. As Yankee games were canceled and Philly reporters did there rain soaked live shots, we enjoyed a week in this little island of blue skies. Wildwood is the best place on earth We found out about wildwood through a friend three years ago while making an east coast swing. Now it’s a ritual we look forward to every year, and this year’s trip is just around the corner. People from here always say…you go to New Jersey for your vacation, and people in wildwood say, you came all the way from Cleveland. We do, and we’re going to just keep coming until they tear down the motel around us. jackatww.shutterfly.com/action/Some pics of my son at WW

Thanks…He’s two now and we hope he’s a little more at ease with the Atlantic Ocean this year, but if not there is always the kiddy pool at the Caribbean…

Welcome stewart! My parents said sand was not allowed to touch me when I was little or I'd scream! I think most little kids don't like it. The Carribean is a sight to see at night!

welcome - great pics - love the black and white ones - I am staying at the Caribbean in October for the Doo Wop weekend; love the way the lights look at night. Just returned from a week down WW today so hard to leave there. Glad you discovered the island and the WW feeling!

We will be in WW the week after Labor Day. The first Tuesday and Wednesday are pretty quiet and it feels like that twilight zone episode with the drunk couple wake up in the alien doll house. It’s fun and you feel like you have the whole place to yourself.
There was a thread about the Caribbean that I wanted to add a post to, but can’t find it. So I guess I’ll just do it here. We’re looking forward too seeing the updates the new owners have made. The green color scheme looks bold. I don’t know how we ended up picking the Caribbean last time, but one of the owners was there and told us his plans for the update. The place was in need of some investment and it looks like they did it right.
