Great pics, Frank.
The shot of Sunset Lake is beautiful.
I had to double-check the pic of the Boardwalk to make sure I wasn't in it! My wife and I arrived in town at around 8 p.m. Wednesday, and we were on the boards when this shot was taken, around 10 p.m.
We couldn't have been too far away. We may very well have been at Bobby Dee's Casino (just off to the right of the photo) at this time. Our son (18 months now) has already become quite the proficient little Boardwalk gambler.
One quick question though, Frank...
Judging from the picture, is it possible that you took this shot while sitting on a bench waiting for someone to get out of the bathroom (the ones located under the visitor's center just behind the benches)?
Just curious. I have a few pictures in my collection that have come from that exact spot, and that's probaby what I was doing at the time.

Beautiful picture of the lake. I always forget to go down there, especially since the sun sets there.
I was on the boardwalk with my husband Thursday and Saturday. Both nights were pretty busy, especially Saturday. We got on the Noreaster and Sea Serpant (my fave ride). He had never been on those before. He got a kick out of the Sea Serpant. He was a little nervous at first backing up the steep hill but still loved it and wants to go on it again our next trip. He was not too crazy about the Noreaster though as it was a little rough. Your head bangs around a little. It is a good thing the harness has thick padding. Next time we will also go on the Great White.
I had one of those disposable videos cameras from CVS sells now and took some footage of the rides in action and other things. Great little camera to have and it fits right in your pocket. Even though you only get 20 minutes of footage total, it is still a nice way to capture some memories. Once the camera is full you take it back to CVS and they transfer the footage to DVD for you. I will be picking it up tomorrow. Can't wait to see it how it came out. ;D

Sunset Lake was always a favorite of my Mom's. I can picture her in spirit still there watching the boats and relaxing by the water. I have pictures from the 70' and 80's of us by the lake. Now it is one of my favorite spots.

I am totally bored at work today. There is not much going on, but we are not allowed to leave early. Corporate America, for ya!
So, I am going though old posts. I was not too active on the web during the summer, but wish that I had been.
Al and Frank, I was down the same week. Funny thing... I was looking for myself in the first boardwalk picture, then laughed out loud reading Al's post about doing the same thing!
It was a great week down there... isn't it always?
