Any good suggestions? Going for a day trip Mem day weekend from WW, since we'll be there for a week, figured we'd finally check those places out. Heard Thrashers (?) was good for fries.

Mom, the Ferry is really the only efficent way to get to OC/Rehoboth. Otherwise you have to drive north then back south, then reverse it to return to WW. The food on the Ferry isn't very good, so maybe pack a snack or stop for take out before? There are plenty of tables and chairs, inside and out for eating. I wouldn't suggest planing to eat Ferry food. The ride is pleasant takes about 90 minutes, from loading in NJ to getting off in Lewes. I'll be using it Thursday to head back to NC for a week or so. Here's the link to the Ferry www.capemaylewesferry.com/Here's a link for Rehoboth www.rehoboth.com/home.htmlre

And if you make a reservation, you will be one of the first to board. We always take the Ferry when we go to VA. We take the first one over so we just get the bagels and such..never had any other food...but I did have a number of Heinekens on the way back year before last..love the revamped boats! Great bar up top.

does the ferry have things for the kids? They do have bathrooms. Some kids love to explore bathrooms.
