worth a trip? next month we're visiting a friend who lives in Hershey. How is Knobels? Is it a full day thing? Can we fit this and Dutch Wonderland in on the same day? We've been to Hershey Park already, so just wondering about the other parks from another point of view.

Knobels is great if you don't mind seeing a little inbreeding. The gene pool is very shallow up there.

Knoebels is well worth a trip, The food is great and cheap prices. Hot dogs are like a dollar, Double scoop ice cream are a dollar.Great food everywhere! There kidde land is like all antique rides and they have signs on all the rides like 80 cents and the roller coasters are like a $1.30 And kiddie land is probably cheaper! Free parking. Free admission. Free use of the picnic groves. I would not recomend putting knoebels with dutch wonderland To much distance between the two, and knoebels... you should really stay up there for the whole day. So nice. Put dutch wonderland with willams grove amusement park all in 1 day. Willams grove is located outside of harrisburg in mechanicsburg. Im not sure I spelled that right. Of course hershey you know you need a whole day!

Knoebles is much far out from Dutch Wonderland but you could get there within in a day and stay over night...i think I remember a Days Inn around there.

If you're a dark ride fan, I'd pick Knoebel's! Dorney Park and Hersheypark no longer have any dark rides (in the summer), they used to have such classics as a mill chute, pretzel dark ride, etc. but now they're mostly known for thrill rides and coasters. Hershey's last dark rides vanished in the mid-70's, and Dorney's vanished in the early 90's (pretzel dark ride Bucket O' Blood burned Sept 1983). Knoebel's still has the excellent Haunted Mansion, built in 1973.
