Well, now that we all know that there are plenty of football/Eagles fans here on the forum who are looking forward to the NFL season starting this weekend, is anyone interested in participating in a suicide pool?
The rules are very simple: (OK, I've edited/modified the rules a bit since yesterday's post, so here we go):
Every week, you pick one team to win its game. If you are right, you move on to the following week unscathed. If you're wrong, you're attributed a "loss."
Each participant can continue until they have accumulated three "losses." At that point, they will be eliminated from the pool.
The pool continues throughout the regular season until the last participant is left. The one big catch is you can't use any team more than once.
For instance, if you pick the Eagles to defeat Houston this Sunday and the Eagles win, you move on to Week 2 unscathed. If you pick the Eagles to win in Week 1 and they lose, of course, you will be charged with your first "loss."
However, either way, you will then be unable to use the Eagles for the remainder of the schedule.
Just so that everything runs smoothly, try to get your picks in each week as early as possible, or no later than Saturday evening.
Please post below if you have any questions whatsoever regarding the rules.
Below is the schedule for Week 4. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll add your name to a list of participants below.
