Hi Everybody.
I attended the Liberty Medal ceremony last night. This year, the medals were given to former Presidents Bush and Clinton. "41" and "42", as Bush affectionately refers to himself and Clinton, received the honor for their charity work after the disastrous tsunami and Hurricane Katrina.
The ceremony was held at the National Constitution Center. If you have never been to the Center, I would recommend going. It is a top notch facility with interactive displays. You can vote for your favorite president in a replica voting booth, preside on the Supreme Court, or take the Presidential Oath of Office. I am still buzzing from last night's festivities. We were fortunate enough to have seats in the 14th row. The ceremony aired on the local ABC affiliate. I watched the tape and the back of my head is shown about a dozen times. Quite a thrill. My brother was spotted on the local news.
