No one has mentioned the movie that was shot ENTIRELY in WW!! It starred Robert Hays (Airport) and Kathleen Beller (Dynasty). I think it was called "One Sunny Day". Thjey were 2 mentally challenged adults that were "trained" to go out in the world (Wildwood?). He became a great Bozo and she was a waitress at Pompeo's on the NW boards. Kinda slow and didn't make a lotta dough but the scenes of WW as it was in the late 70's are priceless! I don't even know if it is available.

My parents had a nice place on 2nd Avenue at that time, a second floor condo. During the filming Kathleen Beller, rented the unit below. She would stop up to ask where to get the best pizza and where good restaurants were.

Ya know, I think the ORIGINAL name, the one they give in production was, One Sunny Day, but u r correct. I don't think it is available anymore, but maybe, for "camp" reasons they could group all the WW flicks and show them in a "WW Film Festival" some year (?)

I just watched Eddie part 2 today! There is some boardwalk scenes. Does anyone know what Boardwalk? To the best of my knowledge, there is no wildwood scenes in this movie. There was one scene I have to go back over because it was a night shot with lots of neon. My pause and rewind button on the remote decided not to work today. Now Im going to watch part 1 which looks like there is not any wildwood scenes either.

thanks rhi for finally ending this debate which should have been ended weeks ago with the IMDB posting and others -- (personally I've always trusted FlyinGN on this one, who has been saying all along that this movie was NOT filmed in WW).
Repeat slowly 3 times every hour and you may believe it too:
This movie was not filmed in WW. This movie was not filmed in WW. This movie was not filmed in WW.
Of course, even with this evidence, I suspect this lame string will continue, because someone will insist that it was filmed there, even though every shred of evidence proves otherwise
remember "a man convinced against his will remains unconvinced ever still"

I just watched the credits to Eddie and the Cruisers Part 1, and it said, "special thanks to the city of North Wildwood" at the end. I didn't watch the movie yet, but this is promising.

Tony Marts bar was in alot of the scenes.( Somers Point) This is really a great movie.
