Just got back from a great trip to wildwood. We missed all the rain and had fun in the sun. The construction, is a mess. All you hear while swimming is hammers and drills going from dusk til dawn. We got a nail in our tire as a result. We asked around the condos if they are selling and the workers told us that this was their 3rd project and the other 2 had very little sale activity. Should the town allow all of this construction if they cannot sell what has already been built? ?

I have heard several people state sale activity is low. I'm not surprised, the town is saturated with new condominiums. While there will be no huge "Bubble Burst" IMO, the market will try to correct itself, thus condo sales are dropping. Honestly, I could care less if they put up 500 more condos, as long as it is out of the motel disrict and in residential areas.

I'm surprised they let the building go on during July and August. Families want to relax not listen to construction !

One wonders what their definition of "construction" is. We rented our main place out in June figuring by July the construction racket would be over when we returned. (NW). (One hears June 15 was the final day, then some said June 30). But its still going on, even over the holiday. Then there is the issue of the terrible roads taking a further beating from all the heavy loads. Nice however to see smiling people of all ages at Hawaii Rumble playing tiki golf. The condos across from it on Surf Ave. are a shoo-in for the top 10 ugly condo list.
