Thanks.

Are you talking about the Cape May inlet jettys or Cape May canal?

I'm not sure. The ones that jut out into the Ocean as you look south from WW Crest/Diamond Beach

Not anymore. You used to be able to walk along the Coast Guard beach (though only authorized people could sit there), but for at least a few years now they don't want unauthorized people on their property.
Years ago I used to walk all the way to the end, and sit on the large jetty...

Not anymore. You used to be able to walk along the Coast Guard beach (though only authorized people could sit there), but for at least a few years now they don't want unauthorized people on their property. Years ago I used to walk all the way to the end, and sit on the large jetty... When I was a kid I walked a circle around the island, sort of. I went south along the beach all the way to the Jetty, turned right as far as the Two-mile bridge, and then came back north along Pacific Avenue all the way. It took me forever and I couldn't walk again for two days. Really made my mother mad, too, since she had no idea where her crazy son was. In those days, the Coast Guard at the electronics station south of Diamond Beach weren't as strict as they are now and no one said a word to me. BTW - That Jetty is the reason Wildwood has such a large beach. All the south-flowing sand hits the jetty and backs up. Thom
