I saw something about WW on channel 7 in my area tonight. There were aerial views and talks with Chamber of Commerce and shots of motels like the Bolero and Canadian. They showed the inside of a condo, looked like a full scale house with kitchen, dining table, etc. I guess not everyone wants to stay at a motel, some people want space and cleanliness. But you'll pay through the nose to have your own shore home. There must be at least 40% less motel rooms than there were in 1998 or even 2001, and there were no vacancy signs with all the motels there, now it's even tighter, you probably need to make reservations months in advance. If you go blind and hope to find a room you might be out of luck if demand is high. Near me they tore down an old motel for a Best Western. Where the heck are they going with all this debris from demoed buildings? To landfills? I can see it now, landfill full of 1950's motel junk, WW's history buried in the earth.
