From the AC press...
Poison lead singer Bret Michaels (above) spent a few hours Monday reliving his childhood by riding go-karts and playing games on the Boardwalk in Wildwood.
Michaels, a native of Pennsylvania, was in town over the weekend performing with his band and co-headliners Cinderella at the Wildwoods Convention Center. He was given the grand tour by John Lynch, the director of sales and marketing for the convention center.
“He was unbelievably nice,” Lynch said about Michaels. “He used to come here every year with his family when he was a kid, and he said this was one of the most memorable stops on his tour. He took time for everyone that stopped him. He signed autographs, posed for pictures. He was just a great guy.”

He said at the concert that they walked the boardwalk before the concert! Can imagine walking into Brett Michaels on the boards! We waited outside the Convention Center after the concert to try to catch a glimpse of them but no such luck.

This is really cool. At the concert, from what I remember Brett kept shouting out Wildwood and also said that they played at the old convention center 20 years ago. As most of you know, Poison is from Mechanixburg Pa Just below Harrisburg. Except for CC Deville.

But on a serious note Rikki Rockett is sooooo hot! ;D

Brett Michaels kept saying that they played with Cinderella 20 years ago at the old convention center - he said something like "this is where it started".

Ha...I saw Cinderella alone about 20 years ago at the old convention Center. . I think it was more around 87 or 88 though. I think it was when "Long Cold Winter" came out. Side note..Two members of Cinderella also showed up at my husband's senior prom., and I used to work at the Springfield Mall waaaay back in 85 and Tommy Kiefer used to come in our store all the time. That was right before they hit it big. ;D
