This weekend, my wife and I took our 8 week old son, Liam, to Wildwood for the first time. He had a great time and was very well behaved. I attached some pictures of his big trip.
This is Liam's first time on the beach. It was very hot so we didn't stay long. He wanted me to take him beyond the breakers, but I decided to just dip his foot into the ocean.
You can tell by his expression that he is having a blast.
We decided to take Liam to Big River Fish Co. for dinner. This take out/restaurant is located near New York Ave. as you enter North Wildwood. The food here is great and the prices are reasonable.
My wife and I got the Lobster Bake which includes a 1 pound lobster, scallops, shrimp, clams, potato, corn and bread....all for 21 dollars. It was very tasty. Unfortunately, Liam fell asleep before he could taste anything.
One of the lobsters tried to taste Liam!
Later that night, we got Liam bundled up to hit the boards.
My wife pushes Liam's chariot as he flashes his blue eyes for the camera.
Here I am introducing Liam to Dante for the first time. Liam decided to wait a few years before entering Dante's realm.
Later that night, we tried a piece of Sam's Pizza from the new place. It wasn't bad...it actually reminded me of Mack's Pizza with a sweeter sauce and thicker crust.
The next day, I decided to ride the Wipeout one last time before its demise. It probably wasn't a good idea because I came off the ride covered in wax.
After the Wipeout, we introduced Liam to Curly's Fries on Morey's Pier. I guess he prefers Paul's Idaho Fries...
The last stop on the trip before we went home was to Mack's Pizza for a slice. Unfortunately, Liam was tired out and I had to eat his slice. The pizza was delicious like always, and I still prefer Mack's over Sam's. Liam will have to wait until next summer to decide which he likes best.
