I go on the webcam during the week, and the boardwalk is dark. The beach looks barren and cold. Soon, it will all be over until May..... God, I hate this time of year.

I really like it down in wildwood in the winter. We made several trips this past winter and had a good time. We got a chance to stay in some different motels such as the landmark. We got to take lots of pictures. We got to eat at Alfes. We got to just relax esspecially while staying at the Bolero! It is kind of sad cause it is so quiet but then before you know it the Boardwalk and City comes alive when the weather starts to break.

Get a grip, thelastresort; think how much you'll be looking forward to the Spring-time. If you constantly did the same things day after day after day, think how much of a boring routine that would be.

The borough and fire marshal have been giving me a hard time for the 1st time in 5 years. They came out and told me to tear everything down and you cant do it. Things got really ugly. I called my lawyer and everything has changed since then. In 1 meeting with all the big wigs at borough hall,we went form having to tear it down to opening it up on regular time. With that being said, I canceled the 1st 2 weeks because they have been holding me up for awhile now. We will have the annual event but it is not going to be as good as I wanted it to be.

Thanks for posting Crazy's article. Unfortunatly, it does not include the two color pictures of Crazy that were printed in the paper.

That stinks what happened to you Mike. I suspect that there aren't as many haunted attractions in the Allentown area than before because of pricky fire marshals, government/county officials. There were some great ones that vanished without a trace. Such as one in a mall near me around 1980 that had an elaborate front/facade inside the mall. They leased a large vacant room. In fact, that part of the mall where the haunted house was no longer exists, it is now occupied by a large chain higher end department store.

Robert, If it wouldn't be for stupid kids causing trouble and lighting cigarette lighters IN the haunted attractions, you wouldn't have "pricky fire marshals."
