I was so happpy to get down there one last time but kind of sucks that this is it for the season. Stayed at the Lotus. It was ok. The room was huge! I am just a creature of habit and still love the Sahara. We ate at Sam's and had dinner at Russo's Saturday night. Friday was pretty quiet on the boards but Saturday was busy and most everything was open. Got some good end of season sales. Nice weather. Only complaint - it went too fast!

Only complaint - it went too fast! That's always my one complaint as well. Whether it's a weekend in June, a full week in August or a day trip in mid-January... it always goes by way too soon. I don't know if you're like me, but as much as I love and cherish my time in the Wildwoods, my time there always seems to fleeting. I think, in a weird way, that actually adds more charm to the experience. You have to really take in every moment you spend there, and enjoy it while you can. I guess I really wouldn't have it any other way when it comes right down to it! At any rate, glad to hear that you had a great time. Wildwood is also a great place to visit in the Winter. It's a little different, but make sure you take a trip down at some point during the months ahead if you get the chance.

It was raining a little this morning. Got up about 8:45 am, went to breakfast and got out of there about 11:00am and it was sunny with blue skies The weather was very nice - just a tad bit windy. I did sit on the boards earlier today and tried to soak it all in and take a mental picture. Will carry that in my mind until the season starts up again

Sat AM started a little wet, but by 9AM the sun was brilliant. We had our doors open and we heard loud music coming from Ocean Ave. We stood on our deck and observed a horse and carraige going down Ocean toward 2nd St. Inside was a bride all dressed in white. We quickly ran down to 5th Street Beach where we saw the bride lerave the carraige and she was joined by her intended and friends. They continued to get married ON THE BEACH! on a beautiful, sunny warm September-October morning in NW. Made only more beautiful by the smiles on everyone's faces!
