Thanks for the reminder. Coolscoops' Trading Spaces link takes you to a page that says the episode "Premieres Saturday, Oct. 29th at 12 PM EST," which is confusing, of course, Saturday being the 28th. TLC's own episode page for the show says it will be shown on Saturday at 10 p.m. and Sunday at 1 a.m.; the full TLC schedule (at tlc.discovery.com/tvlistings) lists it at both those times plus Sunday at noon. So if you're not around Saturday night and you forget to program your favorite TV timeshifting device, you probably have at least another shot at it.

Did anyone watch?
I thought Laurie totally nailed the doo-wop feel. I loved the space-age headboard and columns (although I think in a room that small those columns take up too much room)
Christy's room didn't do anything for me - but then, I usually don't like her rooms. I liked the pink walls, and the red fabric wall, but not together. Plus it seemed a little more 60's mod than doo-wop.
Thought they did a nice job of showcasing a bit of Wildwood, too.

I thought it was cool! Being so far away, anything that contained Wildwood would have made my day. I thought the show was fun. They did a great job talking "doo wop". The quick tour of the boardwalk could have been longer!!! The family was very nice and you could tell that they loved "cool scoops" and they loved wildwood.
It would have been sweet if they had added the Wildwood book to the room for a "coffee table" book. Maybe even the small "sightseer" tram car you can purchase. A few extra "treasures" from the boardwalk or the shore "shells" would have added to the Wildwood feel.
Either way, it was worth watching and it only made me want to be there even more.

I never watch Trading Spaces, except under duress, till tonight. It showcased what The Wildwoods are all about. You can't pay for that kind of positive PR. I really enjoyed the show. I do know they used the dwpl How To DooWop as referance. Available here in the Store.

Did anyone notice that, in the beginning, when they were walking by the Bel Air and the Caribbean, they commented on how great it was that Wildwood had preserved the doo wop architecture? It's wonderful that the Wildwoods gets this national exposure and intoduces new people to the island .....hopefully some of that architecture will still be around for them to see. There's also an article in the Montreal Gazette about the loss of so many doo wop properties. Too bad Trading Spaces couldn't do a whole season on Wildwood motels. On a brighter note.....I thought the rooms looked great....now they look like part of Cool Scoops. The Russos do so much for Wildwood it's nice to see them get something back.
