How about I tell you a story about how I almost got lost inside Castle Dracula. It was in the Maze, I saw this door but wasn't sure if it was the way, it turns out that door was a "secret door" that led back into the front room, great hall, whatever you call it. I didn't open the door, but I finally found out about the door on darkinthepark's website. Or the time I panicked in the crush room when the door didn't open and the walls were closing in. Was the crush room in since the beginning in 76-77? The door opened in the nick of time and I was free. And how my mom was scared to death on the boat ride. She was crying. I think the Dungeon was the creepiest, scariest dark ride in all of Wildwood. Hitchcock Manor, Castle Frankenstein, Dr. Blood's, Hunt's Whacky Shack and Morey's Haunted House and Dante's were others. Morey should build a really creepy haunted house with live actors and the whole works. What they have now is good, but there seems to be a void in terms of walk-through haunted houses. Sure there's the Mummy thing on the old Fun Pier (Morey's), but I mean something like the Castle or Haunted House was, a freestanding attraction that actually looks like what it's supposed to all the way around rather than false fronts like most dark rides.

It wasn't a 'secret door'!! It had a bloody EXIT sign over it.
