According to 98.7thecoast website, you are supposed to be able to listen to them via the internet, which would be great here in Philly but for some reason it doesn't work for me. Does anybody else have the same problem when they access this site

Does anybody else have the same problem when they access this site I did. It usually has to do with installing a "codec" into Windows Media Player. See: www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/webhelp/default.aspx?&id=C00D109B (Note: I have not actually fixed this bug, as I cannot install codecs at work...not that I'm surfing on company time, I swear...) Good luck.

Maybe "The Coast" operates like "Oldies 94" (weekdays [M-F] & only until 7:45pm as I have noticed). See my post on "Oldies 94". I think the person in the Studio probably leaves for the day & puts the station on Automation (Satellite/Computer Combo). I do know that Radio stations have to pay an extra fee to ASCAP & BMI to stream music (maybe that is all they pay for?). Hope that this sheds some light on the issue. "The Coast", "Oldies 94", & "Q-107" are owned by the same Conglomerate (Coastal Broadcasting) as their web sites say. Coastal Broadcasting has an office on Pacific Ave. (down from the Old Woolworths).
