How About Tahitian Drink Stands On The Boards.....

I remember in the 70's that there were several Tahitian drink stands on the Boardwalk. The drinks had Pineapple, Coconut, and I think some other Hawaiian ingredients. The store fronts that sold these type of drinks looked like a "Grass Skirt" draped along the front and had a Hawaiian theme. Even the servers were dressed in Hawaiian Shirts & Grass Skirts. I thought of this when I saw the post for the Hawaiian Shirts. Maybe someone else remembers this?

YEP sure do. As I remember it was caled Alpine drinks.. I loved the orange..

What a great memory, I remember those. What a wonderful idea for someone to bring back to the walk. Guess the only thing like that now is "Lime Ricky"?
