Why don't we do the same thing to the Nickels to pressure them into reconsidering rebuilding Castle Dracula or something similar? At the very least, we should find out what's going on. There hasn't been a peep out of them since they announced their "new ride" to replace the Castle then dropped off the face of the earth. No, a bungee trampoline is NOT a worthy substitute for Castle Dracula. They are simply depriving all visitors since 2002 of a good scare (the best there was on the boardwalk). I'm sure there's alot of Wildwood newbies since 2002 that never even heard of the castle, kids included. What a shame they will never know the greatest attraction that ever lived besides Brigantine Castle. If they do announce a new attraction, lets hope it lives up to the standard of Castle Dracula. I called them on the phone a year or two ago, the pier's number, and a lady said "we are not redoing the castle" or something like that. Lets hope she was wrong. Also, what's happening with the Den of Lost Thieves? I heard it was going out on another site. We don't need to be losing more dark rides/family rides!

If im not mistaken ,I last heard it was up for sale and would not re open. It was either den of the lost thieves or zombie world! It was one of the attractions on the boardwalk itself, I just cant remember which one. As far as the castle goes, I dont think they will ever re build the castle. To much money , to much insurance, to much liability, not enough sales. Not that I dont think that it was great, but They just are not willing to take any chances, and personally I dont think they are doing that well with the moreys and there huge waterparks. i just cant see why they got into the water park business. Maybe they know somthin that we dont know but they should have went with more amusements and maybe they should have done somthing different with the pier. I just dont know waht is going to happen with that nice piece of real estate?
