What happened? I really never got the true story. I know the castano family dumped about 10 million into the pier and project. Was it not enough? Was it the wrong time? Was it the moreys 3 pier combo? I know they have the old steel pier in atlantic city and seem to do well cause there the only ones there, but what really happened to dinasour beach?

[glow=990066,2,300]Dinosaur Beach was built with lottery winnings. I think mainly catering to kids and not the entire family in combination with a dinosaur theme might have lead to the piers demise. Of course it is hard to compete with the 3 pier passport. Steel Pier is not nice, the pier is pretty much a showroom for used rides for sale. However, they still honor Dinosaur Beach tickets at the Steel Pier.[/glow]
