This may just be the passage of time playing a trick on me, but am I correct in remembering that when the Nor’Easter first opened, the cars did not have the rubber pads that now absorb a lot of the side-to-side banging of your head/ears as the ride flies around the track? The coaster still beats you up pretty good, but, for some reason, I remember it really battering me around in its earliest days of operation. Try the talon at dorney park! This is a great coaster! So smooth but so fast and never lets up the whole ride!!

The NorEaster is fun but I must admit I favor the sea serpant

I remember when that accident happened. We were down there that week. Then, a few days later something else happened. It was either a shark attack or a shark sighting. I am trying to remember. It may have been that someone drown in the ocean. Quite an eventful week.

OMG! I can't believe all the people who were there at the same time I was, and remember the accident at the Nor'Easter! As Cindy said, it was quite an eventful week!! During the week before that accident, some crazy head broke the window at the Thunderbird, there was a guy running away from the police with a gun in his hands on the boards, then the attempt at setting fire under the boardwalk at Gateway 26, the Nor'Easter accident and yes, there was a drowning after that!!! I remember all that because I always keep a diary of all my wildwood vacations. And this was the first time I saw so many things happen in such a short time!! LOL
