I've noticed ads for a new bakery opening around Easter in WC. Lucy Lou's Bake Shop, Wildwood's 1st Doo Wop Bake Shop, 5802 New Jersey Ave.
Also have heard good things about a new restaurant in CM Courthouse called Gianni's Italian American on Rt 9, in the old Nino's location. One of the owners is the son of the Caterini's who had the Midtown Motel and Lounge.

Awesome! It will be great to have another bakery in the Crest. I remember when there was one like every 5 blocks.
It sounds like it might be near Nana's Deli or replaced Nana's Deli.
I remember the Wildbood Bakery and Marine Bakery used to supply all the bread in town to the restaurants and corner stores. You could smell the bread baking when driving past them. Now the bread comes from AC or Philly.

Cheese cake is my favorite too!! I don't like it with any toppings though...just plain. Give me a big ol' slab of that and I am good to go!! LOL

yummy, hope they have cheese cake! Speaking of cheesecake. The Cheesecake Factory is coming to Cherry Hill soon! If you have never eaten here, you are missing out. The only 2 I know of in the are is KOP, PA and Woodbridge NJ. I realize this has nothing to do with WW, but we were talking about cheesecake.

Cheesecake yes! They used to have Baby Watson's Cheesecake (a good commercial brand) on the front of Sportland Pier before it closed as a ride pier.

This is great news. Thanks, re!
You can never have enough good bakerys around, and it's very nice and refreshing to hear that the place will be designed in the "Doo Wop" sense.
I will be heading down to the Wildwoods again tomorrow (Saturday), and will check the location out.
