I hate that.. That means someone is parking in the hotel lot that is not sopossed to be.. You aught to take that ticket to the hotel owner since you PAID for a spot...

I asked them and they said if it happens just block people in and leave the tag with your room # on the dash and they will come get you if someone has to get out. They said the problem is because people bring more than one car

Jim, when I walked past the Singapore last Saturday, I actually saw someone who was parked at the Singapore get into their SUV with a Golden Retriever. I seriously doubt John lets people stay at the Singapore with their dogs. I'm guessing someone snuck their dog in, or these people were either visiting someone staying there or just using the Singapore's lot. The truck was parked right near the lobby...

I'm surprised that they seem to accept the fact that people bring more than one car. Do they not strickly enforce the one-spot for one-room rule?

If it ain't broke, why fix it? Most of those motels survived for years, so why get rid of them now? Where are all the tourists going to sleep, lol.

I'm just going to guess unless you complain when the lobby is open you are stuck. I wouldn't expect them to patrol the lot all night but I do wish they would tell you to block when you check in as I could tell by her response it happens all the time

The problem has existed for years and will always exist. I don't think it's an issue of people having more than one car per room, I think it's a matter of guests having friends and family join them. Usually it's not a problem when we get back from the baordwalk at 11:00 or midnight.

Jim that's horrible. Did the Singapore deal with the ticket or did you pay it? I believe they need to enforce their one car per unit policy, or find satellite parking for the overflow.

I'll just remember not to drive that car to Jersey ever again, lol

I saw the silver/gray S500 with Florida plates on it too - isn't that also John's, or his wife's? I see that car there a lot...
