Where was/is the Kennedy House? That looked like a big and brand new place. Is it still around under a different name?

Kennedy House was in North Wildwood, on Kennedy Beach Drive from 5th - 6th Ave. I can't for the life of me picture whether it's still there or not.
Did the Holiday Inn eventually become the Grand?

The Kennedy House appears to be what's now Regency Towers?

Added the rest of the alphabet!!!! The entire book is now posted. Note: There were smaller ads at the end of the book, and the alphabet started over there. These motels have been added to sections already posted: Blue Diamond, Bonito, Christine, El Reno, Elfra Court, Flame Inn, Forget-Me-Not, Fountain, Grey Manor, Grayce Guest House, Lilly. I also posted the print-only listings, and the restaurant ads. These are all on the main page. Here's the link again: s104.photobucket.com/albums/m193/claudiam1962/Wildwood%20Directory/

Spectacular, thank you. Really jolts my memory. Was the Oceanside the early Town & Country? Also rare pics of the Tiki and Surfrider. So many early N. Wildwood motels that had numerous name changes, particularly near the ocean. Confirms that the Pink Orchid was originally the Pink Panther. All these sites now condos. Sad. Wonderful neon signs the North Wind, Sea Foam, Safari and Sunrise (now part of the well-kept Florentine) once sported. Diplomat was previously the Princess as well as the International. So much more motel homework. Thanks again for doing this for all of us.

Thank you so much for the scans. I treasure my '73 guide, and this shares a lot of ads, but there's enough differernt to make eyes light up...

Yes it did. It was a Holiday Inn for about the first 10 years then it became a Quality Inn for about 2 years. It became the Grand around 1985 or 1986.
