They don't, Ocean is flanked by parking on the first floor and a lounge on the second floor. The rooms on the other wing face toward Ocean, but look down onto the pool and are blocked by the second floor lounge.
The Bel Air right across the street has one room that has a big window that overlooks Ocean.

There's a picture on the Caribbean's site that I'm guessing was taken from the 2nd floor in the "other" wing mentioned above - that should give you some idea of the view, Jim. www.caribbeanmotel.com/photos.html

Jim, if you stay there, be sure to ask for a "Doo Wop room". I don't think all of the rooms are renovated yet. And, the rooms facing Ocean were not all done the last time I was there.

I saw that picture and there is a walkway going down Ocean Ave but I guess the room entrances are on the pool side. Are there any hotels in that area that have rooms facing Ocean ave ? The Siesta did before it was torn down.

The Siesta did before it was torn down. The Lu Fran www.lufranmotel.com/or the Bel-Air as someone mentioned www.belairmotel.netor the Windward, Starfire, SeaKist, not to mention the Aquarius and I guess the Newport? Did you want to get a room with a view of the beach, is that the idea? (If so, scratch the Windward, Starfire, and SeaKist--I'm pretty sure they all have a view of Ocean Towers, period.)

I believe there is 1 room on the second floor that faces Ocean Ave. I am not sure if the room has a balcony but the windows are on Ocean Ave.

great pic Martin. I have to agree with you on that one bud! Even though it doesn't show the whole Motel, it's just fantastic. It shows off the pool so well...

No matter how many times I see the Caribbean I can never get over what a cool place it is. Thank God the wrecking ball didn't get to it, I remeber when it was for sale for a "dirt-cheap" couple of million dollars.
