I can't make out all the motels on the calendar. How many motels are left on it? The Singapore and the Eden Rock and the Tahiti are only ones I can make out.

The motels behind each month are:Packard, Marquee, Satellite, 24th Street(with original sign), Chateau Bleu, Caribbean, Tahiti, Kona Kai, Del Conte (Casa Nova), Eden Roc, Imperial 500 & Three Coins. The larger pictures are: The Eden Roc - Pool, Packard - Motel Room, All Star - Line Dancing, Caribbean - Pool, Satellite - Pool, Marquee - Exterior, Singapore - Garden Area & the Tahiti- Balcony.

Its just sad that 80% of the motels on this calendar are gone and the Eden Roc has seen much better days.

But at least these classic motels are being remembered and honored. I think that's very important. Though they are gone, these are the institutions that helped shape the island's identity, and are obviously significant in a historical, cultural and architectural sense. The calendar looks great, Eric. I'll definitely be picking up at least a few (the 2006 edition went over very well as Christmas gifts last year! ).

Al,
Stop by the 50's weekend, I'll have a table. It would be nice to finally meet you and the rest of the gang from the board.

I'm also glad that someone is able to make some money on these old motels again.

I'm also glad that someone is able to make some money on these old motels again. If John Panitucci finds out his hotel is being used in the calendar he'll probably sue for a cut, lol
