What should be interesting is trying to get the European workers to smile! Some of those kids are famous for their surly attitudes. Yeah, the differences in culture (Morey’s hires so many people from so many countries every year) should provide this trainer with an interesting challenge. Then again, I’m sure he faced many similar situations with the various workers he dealt with at Disney.

Al:
I think coming from you that post just caught a lot of people off guard...
I've noticed that a lot of the European workers (many of whom work two jobs down here) find it hard to smile at times. Perhaps they are intimidated by the culture of certain spoiled American kids they see all around them? Or maybe they're disappointed by how badly some visitors, vacationers, and residents tend to treat them at times.
At least they are willing to work even without the smile! I've seen even more customers and patrons down here look more miserable and surly than these European kids more and more over the years! Unlike a lot of American kids today who would rather slack off doing absolutely nothing during the summer season but drive around in the parents new cars or SUVs with a radio blasting something that is supposed to be music, these European workers have to given a little credit.
By comparison, I've never personally seen any of these European kids not work hard while they're down here, doing jobs that most American kids would scoff at as being beneath them these days.
