hmm. The only rodeo that I know of is cowtown and that is on 45 I think The huge cowboy (sans rope) is in front of Cowtown on Rt. 40 in Woodstown, NJ. You will see him if you are passing Richman's Ice Cream and going towards (or coming from) the Delaware Memorial Bridge, I-95, etc. Here's a link to their website: www.cowtownrodeo.com/ Thanks for the link to their website. Haven't been there since I was a kid. Loved it then.

The grand opening of the Maurice River Dinner on route 47 was the Monday after Easter. I didn't eat there yet, but I stopped to take this picture. It looks like a nice place, but they got ride of the train car that used to be attached to the place.

Thanks for the pic, dark.
At first glance, the diner looks like a furniture store. Do you happen to know if this is an older building that was converted, or is this a fairly new structure?
Bet it's really nice on the inside, though.
Just very different looking for a "typical" roadside New Jersey diner.

They totally re-built the place this year...more like just built, actually. The original stuff from the old "Depot Diner" (or something) is all gone--including the railroad car. It's right before the fork where you can choose 47 or 347 (headed Southbound), Frank...about 1/2 mile before the new Super Wawa.

Thanks for the pic, dark. At first glance, the diner looks like a furniture store. I thought it looked more like a funeral home. Either way, it's better than the train, althought that was something memorable from yearly trips to the shore.

On my many trips to PA to visit my sisters and their families, I always wanted to stop there, just never got around to it. Will give us another option other than the Harrison House in Mullica Hill. I once stopped at the Pizza place not far from the Commodore Barry Bridge, I wasn't impressed.
