There's so many sounds along the boardwalk that it's hard to kind of distinguish any of them specifically. You kind of stroll in and out of a lot of sounds...A few sounds that stand out IMO are bells and whistles going off at the stands and this slight rumbling sound from various rides.

Also, the 'taped' games barkers...'there goes ANOTHER lucky winner'...which is really funny if there is no one even near the game.

The aquarium tape loop is a good one- "...tiger sharks, lemon sharks..."
Also, when the tram car bugs out and plays all fast and high-pitched

The insulting clown who eggs people??? Really? There was a Mr. Peanut man on the boarwalk years ago that made a strange noise...always remember that noise, but I don't know really what it was.
Years ago you could hear the ocean from the boardwalk. Interesting concept....now the water seems so far away, I don't think it can be heard.
The Fugue music...was that from one of the dark rides that is now gone?

Novacancy, yeah the Toccata was from Castle Dracula...that played on a continuous loop. Sometimes we pushed the button to make Drac pop out of his window and 'talk' to the guests!

I can't think of any boardwalk sounds but I have one from the beach. How about the ice cream guy, pulling around his big white cart, yelling, "fudgy wudgies!" LOL ;D

"Fudgie Wudgies"!!!! That's got to be a Classic sound! How about "Everything in the store is Fi-i-i-i-i-ve Dollas...!" Also, "How about a free shot!" Here is another one, "You stepped up, you stepped in, now it's time for a little spin!" & "It's worse in reverse!" Carousel Music on tape / CD Don't forget the "cawing" of the seagulls. The famous nasaly sound of "Watch the Tram Car Please!" The ringing bells of the slots in the arcade. At Sportland Pier, the person in the Water Dunk cage Razzing the Crowd in fun hopefully! I know of some more but maybe someone else could have a turn.

I could probably go on and on about my personal favorite Wildwood sounds, but I’ll keep it simply Here are my favorites:
- “Watch the Tramcar, please.” The ultimate Wildwood sound. Nothing defines the experience quite like this timeless phrase. I wonder who the lady who made the original recording was… where she is today, if she is still alive. I’m sure she couldn’t have imagined then, when she made a simple recording, that her voice would become famous to (literally) millions of people.
- The old sound of the Golden Nugget cars screeching around the cornered track on the upper level of the ride, briefly making an outdoor appearance as they swing from one “mine shaft” to another.
- Bozo. I love the guy, just hearing his raspy, amplified drawl. He really let’s people have it, never holds back, regardless of who passes by his cage. Hearing him just reminds me of Wildwood days gone by, times spent on the Boardwalk. I’m surprised he’s still there, but I’m glad he is.
