What about " Choice of the house"
Even today they have the water guns "We need two more people for Choice"
What about when you walk by EVERY T-shirt place and they want to give you a discount?

This goes back a while.....but I always loved the music from the indoor carousel...the one at Playland on Cedar Ave. that was torn down in the 70's. There's a tape of the music at the Historical Society.
I love Ralph's site. Brings back lots of memories.

The sound of flip flops clapping on the boards only to be followed by screams of agony as someone got a rusty nail through their foot - Only kidding ;D Thom

This will age me! How about Kate Smith singing "God Bless America" when it was the sign for all the bikes to leave the boardwalk.
The one dime one try. How come I lost so many dimes then!! LOL!
The garbage trucks at 6:00 am in the morning picking up trash. It is pretty much the only alarm clock you need in North Wildwood! LOL.

Would you like to try a piece of fudge, it's free. right. and "we have a special today, when you buy two one-pound boxes of our creamy fudge, you get a one-pound box of box of our delicious salt-water taffy free". I always joke around with the kid that the "special today" is the same special they've had for the last 30 years. Great fudge though!

The parrot wasn't the "yo-ho-ho", You are right I think that was coming from somewhere on the ship. If you go to Funchase.com and find the section with the Hunt's Pier sounds and click on the cat with the Parrot sound, you'll remember it.
